| OVERVIEW Religious worship, like every other aspect of our lives, has undergone marked change in the past century. More people want to participate in the liturgy, rather than merely bear witness to it. Audiovisual technology, the rising use of vocal and instrumental groups, and other entertainment are also finding their way into Sunday services and the church’s weekday activities. For nearly forty years, Irwin Pancake Architects has designed ecclesiastical architecture that builds a spirit of community and involvement for the modern-day church, while respecting the church’s traditions. Our portfolio includes 174 church properties, including a variety of denominations. Many of our church projects also include other buildings that are part of the church campus and community, including classrooms, daycare centers and multi-use structures. |
